Cheap Used Car?
April 1, 2014 4:24 AM

I'm taking a new job as a bouncer at a pretty rough place. I know my car will be a target for people who want to get back at me. What's a reliable but dirt cheap model that can handle some smashed windows, slashed tires, (and gunfire?) and won't cost a fortune to fix?

Whatever you do, don't buy a 1965 Buick Riviera. It's got these clamshell headlights that are super unreliable and break easily.

Why not go for an armored tank? If you buy used you can get one super cheap!

I know this isn't an answer to the question and will probably be deleted, but you might want to ask yourself if pain actually hurts before you get into this situation.

You're gonna get your best deal if you find something solid and used and then negotiate the price hard. I mean, don't lay into the seller or anything right off the bat, but, well, only be nice until it's time to stop being nice.

What are these other vengeful fellows driving? If they have access to a monster truck, you may be SOL.

There's plenty of good deals out there. Just head over to the lot and kick the tires on a few you like.

Will you need the car to impress any potential love interests ? I know doctors are all about the fancy cars, and rooms with a good view..

you're probably still paying off those nyu student loans, but you can probably afford something with a decent tape deck

Don't go too cheap, or getting it fixed will be your regular Saturday night thing.
